Describe your personality in one sentence: Outgoing, professional, and analytical with a touch of competitiveness.
What makes you most excited about your new role (hehe) at RoleCall?!
I am most excited about the industry and the impact RoleCall can make in the world of talent attraction. I am hoping my work can help make a practical difference for clients using our services.
What's the most unexpectedly awesome place you've ever been?
Yehliu Geopark in the Wanli District of New Taipei, Taiwan. Known for its hoodoo stone formations with the most iconic being the “Queens Head”. Climbed the old radio tower in a rainstorm and took amazing photos of the entire cape.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why?
Rome, Italy. Now having visited, I would love to learn more about the food, language (novice), and culture. Specifically, being a NY Pizzaiolo, there is so much more to learn about techniques, recipes, and styles in Italy compared to the states.
Describe your perfect Saturday: where are you, what are you doing, what's the weather like, what are you eating, etc?.
It’s a sunny 85 degree day. Our friends all meet at the local soccer establishment at 10 AM to watch Manchester United take on Manchester City for the Premier League title. We watch as our team dismantles City to raise the trophy. Shortly after, we have plenty of time to hit the local beach to enjoy the rest of a perfect day of weather and company.
Here at RoleCall, we're almost as passionate about karaoke as we are about economic development, so tell us: what's your favorite song to belt out at full volume?!
I am not a great singer, but if I had to choose I would say American Pie - Don McLean. If I have to suffer, we’re all in for 8 minutes and 36 seconds =)
Ian’s Bio:
I live in Portland, Maine but am originally from NYC. I have a strong professional background in operations and have been fortunate to have a career that has branched out from there. I am an avid sports fan and player, cave in for K-Dating/Cooking Shows, and love any trip involving a body of water. I have a very needy Siamese cat who is the best pet companion ever. My current interests include building on my experience as a Pizzaiolo, learning Tagalog (language of the Philippines), and practicing to break 80 in a round of golf.
