Meet Kate Wilson, RoleCall’s New Director of Client Success
RoleCall is growing! We are ridiculously excited to welcome Kate Wilson to our team. Kate will be working closely with every single RoleCall client to define their unique metrics of success, optimize existing programs, and conceptualize new offerings. All of our clients want to attract talent, but we’ve found that there are many different priorities and focuses within that ultimate goal: marketing the community to a wider audience, engaging employers, connecting newcomers directly to available jobs, activating current residents, and proving success of existing talent attraction and retention initiatives. Kate will be bringing expertise, experience, and personalized attention to ensure our clients meet their goals — and keep dreaming up bigger ones. Also, real talk? She’s one of the coolest people we’ve ever met. We are so, so lucky to have her on the team.

What’s the best nickname you’ve ever been given?
My dad calls me Bug and my mom calls me Bunny. To them, I am Bugs Bunny.
Describe your personality in one sentence.
I whole-ass everything: I care fully, laugh fully, and feel fully.

What makes you most excited about your new role (hehe) at RoleCall?
How much time do we have?! Fulfilling work and amazing people. I am so passionate about community development and giving everyone the chance and opportunity to live in a place that resonates with them! The people at RoleCall are some of the most empathetic, intelligent, coolest people I have ever worked with! I am so jazzed to learn and grow with this team.
What's the most unexpectedly awesome place you've ever been?
The Acid War Zone Trail in Wailuku, Hawaii. I know, I know, it’s Hawaii, but we stumbled upon this trail accidentally when we were lost and it has some of the most breathtaking views I have ever seen… plus, what a name.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why?
Denmark! I have similar sensibilities to the Danes, not to mention it’s absolutely gorgeous.
Describe your perfect Saturday: where are you, what are you doing, what's the weather like, what are you eating, etc?
My perfect Saturday would for sure start a little later, waking up with my husband and dogs. Eventually, we’d get up and go to the gym, then it would be a quiet afternoon with reading, naps, and reruns of Seinfeld or the Golden Girls. In the evening we would probably order in or make a very elaborate pasta dish with some libations. We would end the evening with either a movie or binging a show (I am an 80-year-old trapped in a younger person’s body).
Here at RoleCall, we're almost as passionate about karaoke as we are about economic development, so tell us: what's your favorite song to belt out at full volume?!
