Meet Derek Brady, RoleCall’s New Director of Sales
RoleCall is growing! We are thrilled to welcome Derek Brady to our team. Derek will be leading the way in bringing our WayFinders community onboarding program to more communities across the country. We have big, BOLD visions for WayFinders. In fact, we see it becoming the future iteration of Chamber Ambassador programs: a way to activate your most enthusiastic residents to welcome newcomers and attract and retain talent for your member businesses. Forward-thinking communities like Minot, Toledo, and Cleveland are already up and running. With deep experience working in the economic development and talent attraction space, Derek is the perfect person to bring this community onboarding tool to life for every chamber in America (why not dream big, right?). He’s also a masterful karaoke performer (if you’ve been to ACCE or IEDC you may have seen one of his soul-stirring renditions of “Purple Rain”), proud dad and husband, craft beer enthusiast, and Tennessee Vols fan.

Describe your personality in one word: Enthusiastic
What makes you most excited about your new role (hehe) at RoleCall?!
I love hearing the excitement and passion that people feel about where they live. In my opinion, it doesn’t get better than being able to wake up every day and talk to community leaders about these unique aspects of where they’re from. I’m thrilled to be back in the talent attraction and economic development space.
What's the most unexpectedly awesome place you've ever been?
Vermont
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why?
Put me on the Big Island of Hawai’i, fresh off a trip to Volcano National Park, pulling into the parking lot of Cafe 100 for a plateful of Loco Moco, before I head back to Kona to grab a pint of Kona Big Wave beer at On the Rocks while I listen to the smooth musical stylings of a local ukulele savant accompanied by the crashing waves and ocean spray of the Mighty Pacific.
Describe your perfect Saturday: where are you, what are you doing, what's the weather like, what are you eating, etc?
A clear, crisp autumn night in Neyland Stadium, cold beer and hot dog in hand with the Vols marching down the field on a game winning drive to beat Alabama/Florida/Georgia.
