Meet Stephanie Verdinez, RoleCall’s New Marketing & Client Success Coordinator
It’s an exciting time around these parts! RoleCall is growing! We are thrilled to welcome Stephanie Verdinez to our team. Steph comes to us from the Iowa City Area Development Group, where she worked on economic development and community building initiatives for the region. While telling the story of her own community, Steph discovered a broader passion for helping others champion their communities, and we’re so excited to bring her gifts, skills, and energy to RoleCall. Steph is joining our client success team and will assist our amazing clients with talent attraction marketing strategies and building out impactful content.

Location: Born and raised in Iowa City, IA. Currently located in Cedar Rapids, IA
Family: Grant (boyfriend), Romelia & Leo (mom + stepdad), Noel (dad), Jissele & Jaime (sister + boyfriend), Michael (brother), Andrew (brother), Brayan (step-brother), Genesis (step-sister)
Describe your personality in one sentence:
I am a shy person at first but am very outgoing once you get to know me.
What makes you most excited about your new role (hehe) at RoleCall?!
Getting to work with go-getters! I am a community champion for both Iowa City and Cedar Rapids and am excited to be a community champion for our clients.
What's the most unexpectedly awesome place you've ever been?
Isla de Venados (Deer Island). A small island located in the bay in front of the city of Mazatlán where I did some snorkeling and banana boating. This was a random excursion we did when we went to Mazatlán, Sinaloa.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why?
Italy. Never been but I love pizza.
Describe your perfect Saturday: where are you, what are you doing, what's the weather like, what are you eating, etc?
My perfect Saturday would include starting my morning off with a good workout at the gym, cooking a full breakfast, enjoying the warm sunshine by going on a hike at Squire Point in Iowa City, and ending the day with dinner at Tomaso’s Pizza in Cedar Rapids.
Here at RoleCall, we're almost as passionate about karaoke as we are about economic development, so tell us: what's your favorite song to belt out at full volume?!
Dancing Queen by ABBA. Although, I am terrible at remembering lyrics…you can always count on me to sing the main verse.
